​At Outlook & District Playschool, we provide a warm, safe, and supportive environment where children can play, grow, and confidently explore new experiences. Through play-based learning and gentle routines, children develop independence, social skills, and a positive foundation for future school experiences. No pressure or overwhelm.

Our playschool has been a valued part of the Outlook community for nearly 40 years. What began in a church basement has grown and evolved alongside generations of local families, while staying true to our core belief: young children learn best through play, connection, and belonging.

Now located in a spacious setting with access to outdoor play, our program makes full use of both indoor and outdoor environments. With our central location in the heart of Outlook, children enjoy simple walking field trips that help them feel connected to their community and confident in the world around them.

Outlook & District Playschool is proudly run by a parent committee, made up of families currently enrolled in the program. Parent involvement is encouraged and valued, this is a playschool built by our community, for our children.

Our school year runs from mid-September to June.
•Three-year olds AND four-year-olds may attend one or two days per week

 

We offer a gentle first step into learning — a place where children build confidence, friendships, and a love of learning that carries with them into kindergarten and beyond.
